Partner to Host Free Diabetic Screening Event
[BLAIR, NE] – The Blair Lions Club and Memorial Community Hospital and Health System are working together to host a Diabetic Screening event on Thursday, November 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The event is free and will be held in the Bagby & Gentry Conference Rooms located on the main level of MCH&HS in Blair. Finger stick blood sugars will be taken, so guests must fast (no food or drink) beforehand for accurate results. Coffee is allowed, but no sugar or creamers. Presentations will be given by Jeane Christenson, MS,RD,CDE about the signs and symptoms of diabetes at 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Diabetic Supply vendors will be in attendance for guests to visit and refreshments will be served.
