Memorial Community Hospital & Health System’s Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by a staff that maintains certifications in adult critical care, pediatric critical care, and neonatal critical care. Blair’s closest choice for trauma care and stabilization, MCH works closely with the trauma system in Omaha, including access to the LifeNet helicopter through our on-site Helipad. We also closely work with local rescue squads and ambulance providers.

Dr. Santosh Kumar
Dr. Kumar attended Medical School at Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Creighton University and did an internship in outpatient pediatrics at Tri-City Health in Fremont, California. He is Board Certified in family Medicine.
Dr. Jeremy Lee
Dr. Lee attended the Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine and spent his residency at the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine; training at more than 10 different facilities in the area. He is Emergency Medicine Board Certified. He is also certified in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS.
Derek Nelson, PA-C
Derek attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is certified in BLS and ACLS and is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Dr. Walter Wood, PRN
Dr. Wood received his Graduate Degree, Master of Science, and graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Certifications include the American Board of Family Medicine.
Jacqueline Stanzel, APRN
Jacqueline Stanzel received her Bachelor’s and Master of Nursing from Nebraska Methodist College and went on to receive her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Nebraska Methodist College. Certifications include Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice Certification, Nebraska Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, and Nebraska Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) License.
