Some imaging exams require preparation. Exam-specific instructions and documents will be provided prior to your appointment when applicable. If you have questions about how to prepare, our imaging team is happy to help.
Scheduling Your Imaging Exam
Standard Imaging Scheduling
- Your provider places an order for imaging.
- The order is faxed to the MCH Diagnostics Department.
- Our dedicated scheduling team works closely with providers and insurance companies to streamline the process and minimize delays. After authorization is received, patients are often scheduled within one business day for diagnostic imaging services.
- Once approved, we will contact you to schedule your exam.

Scheduling with MDsave
If you plan to use MDsave, the process is slightly different:
- Your provider places an order for imaging.
- You contact Scheduling to let us know you would like to use MDsave.
- Our scheduling team will then schedule your imaging exam.
