Senior Life Solutions Christmas Gift Drive
Senior Life Solutions at Memorial Community Hospital and Health System (MCH) hosted a gift drive for seniors in the community during the month of December. Enough items were collected to make 35 gift bags with multiple items in each. 24 of the gift bags went to the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging’s (ENOA) Meals on Wheels recipients and the rest of the gifts were sent to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home. Holly Mackie, Director of Senior Life Solutions, said, “It’s so important we remember our elderly population, especially during this incredibly tough time. Just a little gift with some new items can mean the world to someone.” Items donated included many personal care items, slippers, blankets, candy, word find and crossword puzzles, among many other things.
