Dr. Alisha Mor

Dr. Mor is originally from Omaha, and attended the University of Nebraska College of Medicine for medical school and Family Medicine Residency. She enjoys taking care of families, getting to know them, and individualizing their care to fit their unique needs. She has two young children at home – Ethan (3) and Amelia (1) – that have been a huge source of learning and understanding even beyond her formal medical training. In her free time, she enjoys exercise, being outdoors, reading, travel, and all things food.

In line with her passion for caring for Mom & Baby in all aspects of their health and wellness, Dr. Mor is Board Certified in both Family Medicine with Obstetrics and Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine. This additional education in breastfeeding care, along with her personal experience with her own two children, allows her to help families meet their breastfeeding goals in a low-stress way. Dr. Mor believes that based on her own experience, care of the young family should address feeding, sleep, and other factors beyond the basics that are typically covered in prenatal, postpartum, and well child care.

“I have recommended MCH and Duxbury to others that I care for. It is very reassuring to have moved from Omaha and had my pick of physicians to come to a small town, to drive to to a bit larger town and find many, many, competent doctors. Outreach, ER, Walk-In and regular”

“Excellent appointment and annual visit and going over everything! All of my concerns were addressed and answered to the fullest degree.”

“We love Dr. D and Karissa, they are so good and patient. They answer all my questions, give excellent advice and feedback on the things my child is experiencing.”
