Job Description
  • Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at all MCH facilities which includes corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance of electrical distribution, mechanical, HVAC, power generation, plumbing, medical gas systems and building structures.

  • Operates, inspects, tests, adjusts and repairs all physical infrastructure machinery/equipment, heating, cooling, piping and electrical systems.

  • Conducts safety testing on electrical equipment, emergency generator, boilers and HVAC systems.

  • Maintains, installs, and repairs plumbing fixtures to maintain heating, water, gas and drainage systems as well as general plumbing throughout the facilities.

  • Constructs and repairs building structures, walls, floors, ceilings, cabinets along with general maintenance of buildings. 

  • High school diploma or (GED) required.  Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully pass regular motor vehicle records checks. 

  • Two years maintenance experience in one or more of the building trades.

  • Healthcare maintenance experience preferred.  Heating and HVAC experience preferred.
